One of a Kind piece - Navajo ring

Navajo ring made of a Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is surrounded by a thin cord, recalling the lasso and the fact that for the Natives the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.

The ring is composed of two silver branches joined into one, giving a slight glimpse of the skin.
