One of a Kind piece

Stunning Navajo ring in lapis lazuli inlay and sterling silver.

This imposing ring with its unmistakable look is the work of two contemporary Navajo artists:
Ryan Sanchez & Valentin.

Both have created this stunning piece of jewelry, featuring a beautiful lapis lazuli inlay. Inlay is a Zuni silversmith technique, but here it is masterfully executed by Navajo jewelers. This lapis lazuli inlay is representative of the channel inlay process: each lapis lazuli rectangle is compartmentalized by fine silver bars. This meticulously crafted marquetry contrasts with its ring, which is made of very thick sterling silver, creating a jewel of both finesse and strength.
