Navajo ring made of a superb Royston turquoise (Nevada) set in sterling silver.

This beautiful and imposing ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: we can see that the artist wanted to highlight the incredible color gradations of this turquoise (variations from pastel blue to golden brown to khaki green). The setting is only adorned with a thin silver cord surrounding the turquoise, reminding the lasso and the fact that the Natives consider the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.

The ring is made of three silver branches joined in one, for a beautiful openwork effect on the phalanx.
