One of a Kind piece

Very nice Navajo ring, made of a beautiful Turquoise Mountain turquoise (Arizona) cabochon set on sterling silver.

The setting of this ring is very representative of Navajo silversmithing. The turquoise is adorned by a thin silver cord, an element reminding the lasso and the fact that the artist's tame the stone like a wild animal. This turquoise of intense contrasts is also highlighted by small chiseled spheres, and on either side of the ring we can see the symbol of a cactus flower.

All these elements in relief are oxidized, for even more volume, creating an exceptional ring, a strong piece of jewelry to wear proudly!
