Navajo ring made of a superb Dry Creek turquoise (Nevada) set in sterling silver.

This ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is surrounded by a thin silver cord, recalling the lasso and the fact that the Natives consider it necessary to tame the stone like a wild animal. Arrowheads, symbol of protection, are stamped on both sides of the ring.
