Beautiful Zuni inlay and silver pendant representing a bear. 

This stunning bear is made of lapis lazuli with its eye in turquoise Sleeping Beauty (Arizona) inlay.

A coral arrow goes from its mouth to its heart: this represents the breath of life of the animal, supposed to allow it to control and dominate its predators.

In Native culture, the bear is an emblematic animal that is a symbol of strength, health and knowledge. 

On this pendant this bear is surrounded by beautiful designs, also made of lapis lazuli, coral and turquoise. 

This jewel is made by two artists: a Zuni couple.
Be aware that they developed the design, they cut and worked all the stones to create a composition that is done to perfection, which was then polished to a smooth and elegant finish of extreme finesse. The result is a stunning piece, emblematic of cutting-edge Zuni jewelry.
