Zuni brooch-pendant representing a cardinal bird in coral and black-jet inlay and a flower inlaid of white mother-of-pearl, Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona) and coral on sterling silver

The cardinal is a beautiful bird emblematic of the South-West of the USA. The artist made it here in a beautiful work of marquetry that is entirely chiseled to give more realism to the feathers. We also find these details on the leaves and petals of the flower.
