The butterfly is made in mat sterling silver and set with many coral cabochons to decorate its wings, while its body is made of a large Kingman Spiderweb turquoise (Arizona) and its eyes are two small Sleeping Beauty turquoises (Arizona). The wings and antennas of the butterfly, as well as the stick that attached the hair together, are fully embossed, for even more detail and realism.

More than a simple hair accessory, this Navajo hair clip is a beautiful and remarkably original piece of jewelry.
