Maiden hand-carved in deer antler, whose face and necklace are inlaid with coral. Her hair is inlaid with two small turquoise spikes of Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona).

This beautiful Maiden is shown here with the traditional hairstyle of Hopi young women: two large macaroons covering her ears. This famous hairstyle has entirely inspired a well-known female character from a great movie saga! We can see that the artist who sculpted this fetish statuette took care to detail her jewels, her hair and the details of the beautiful traditional shawl she wears over her shoulders.
