Duo of turtles: a parent and its children are carved in marble. Their eyes are made in Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona). Little pieces of coral and shell are attached around them thanks to a tendon string, giving them more strength. 

The turtle symbolizes protection, longevity, love and knowledge (it is the mother of the earth).
