Zuni Earrings

Small square-shaped Zuni earrings, made of fine Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona), set in sterling silver.

These earrings are made with the technique of Needle Point: composition of stones cut very finely in the form of drops, baguettes or small points.


Inlay is a Zuni jewelry process, but here it is masterfully executed by a Navajo silversmith. This ring is a fine example of “channel inlay”, an inlay technique in which the stones are compartmentalized by thin silver bars.
