One of a Kind piece - Navajo bracelet

Navajo bracelet with a beautiful Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This bracelet is representative of the traditional Navajo silversmithing:The turquoise is surrounded by a thin silver cord reminding the lasso and the fact that in the Native culture it is considered that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal. 

The frame consists of three silver branches joined together, creating an elegant openwork effect that reveals the skin. In the center is a pretty oxidized twist. The other two branches are entirely engraved with fine striations and stamped with delicate half-moons. The whole piece is oxidized to accentuate the relief and enhance the character of the jewelry.
