Know more about HARPO’s pendants

What types of pendants do we have at HARPO?

The Native American pendants we have at HARPO are very diverse, both in terms of style and volume. HARPO pendants are essentially unisex jewels. It all depends of your style, your desires, what you dare or not… So you will find small, discreet pendants as well as large, showy ones. Our main stone is of course turquoise, so we offer a wide choice of turquoise pendants, as well as pendants inlaid with various stones, and pendants made entirely of sterling silver, without stones.

By who are made these HARPO pendants?

All the pendants we offer are made by Native American craftsmen and craftswomen living in the Southwest of the USA. Among this large number of jewelers, some have been practicing their art of silversmithing for generations, others do it more anecdotally, some are recognized worldwide and have won numerous awards, while others are prodigies in the making. In all cases, one thing is certain: HARPO pendants are high quality jewels, just like all the other jewelry we offer, whether set with stones or not. Navajo pendants offer a beautiful volume of stones, Hopi pendants are known for their rare and precious craftsmanship in sterling silver only and Zuni pendants offer the finesse and originality of inlay or Needle Point pendants.

Would you like a Native American necklace with your HARPO pendant?

Depending on the size of the pendant ring (small ring that allows a cord or chain to be passed through) of the pendant you choose, we recommend adding a Navajo necklace made from matte or shiny silver beads, a Pueblo necklace made from Heishi beads of natural stones and shells, or a fine turquoise necklace made by the Navajo people. Tied together, these elements will create an exceptional turquoise ensemble that no one else will have!

What make HARPO pendants so special?

Over the years, some of our pendants have become truly iconic: arrowhead pendants, cross pendants, feather pendants... Turquoise pendants, of course... But we also make beautiful one-of-a-kind pendants.

Like all our jewelry, HARPO pendants are handcrafted by Native American artisans and craftspeople from various tribes in the Southwestern United States: Navajo, Pueblo, Zuni, Hopi. Behind each pendant is an artist of exceptional skill. Dressing your neck in these ethnic pendants is the assurance of wearing an original, high-quality piece of jewelry. The beauty of HARPO is the quality of the materials and the know-how of the natives behind it.

Will your find all our pendants on our e-shop?

The answer is no! We offer you the widest possible choice on our e-shop, but if one day you do us the pleasure of visiting our boutique, you'll see that we have a very large selection to offer you.

How to take care of your HARPO pendant?

If you opt for sterling silver pendants only (without stones set on them), then no worries, you can make a living with them and give them a shine with our chamoisine. On the other hand, if you treat yourself with a turquoise pendant (or other stones) or an inlay pendant, we advise you to remove them (no baths, showers, let alone swimming pools, seas, etc.).
