BA1879 Harpo Turquoise and Silver Ring

Navajo ring 

Pretty Navajo ring with an oval Kingman turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

The turquoise is set in a smooth and simple setting that highlights the stone.

This ring is made with the Applique process: This technique is identified by squash flowers (squash being an essential commodity to the Natives), leaves and feathers. All these elements are chiseled into thin silver plates and then soldered to a smooth frame. 
 

Dimensions of the turquoise (L x w): 1,8cm x 1,4cm
(0.3/4 inch x 0.1/8 inch)

This ring is in sterling silver.

Each item being unique,  the turquoise may vary from one ring to the other.
