Navajo ring with a Sonoran turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is surrounded by a thin cord, recalling the lasso and the fact that for the Natives, the stone must be tamed like a wild animal. The shank of this ring is composed of three thin silver branches joined into one, for a simple, elegant look that highlights the stone.
