Navajo ring

Beautiful Navajo ring inlaid with Kingman turquoise (Arizona) and lapis lazuli, on sterling silver.

The ring's contour is slightly curved, allowing for a subtle play of levels. Moreover, the ring's setting is delicately hand-chiseled, with small undulations that add character to the whole.

Inlay is a composition of real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl and jet), cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric pattern. The whole is polished to a smooth, elegant finish.

This inlay is representative of the "channel inlay", which can be recognized by the thin silver bars that compartmentalize the stones.
