One of a Kind piece

Navajo ring featuring a beautiful inlay of various turquoises from the Southwestern United States, lapis-lazuli and silver.

The marquetry technique used by the artist is called "Cobble Inlay".

"Cobble" is the perfect name for this exceptional work, which is as elegant as it is massive, and although contemporary, imitates the ancestral technique of mosaic.

The artist has also created a Kokopelli on each side of the ring.

Kokopelli is a positive deity worshipped by the Natives who possesses the wisdom of age. A symbol of fertility, joy, celebration and long life. He's also a minstrel, a musical spirit, a storyteller, a rainmaker, a healer, a teacher, a prankster magician and a seducer. Depicting him on a motorcycle takes him completely out of context, making this brooch as original as it is amusing.

Size of the inlay (L x W): 2cm x 1,5cm
(0.3/4 inch x 0.5/8 inch)

This ring is in sterling silver.

Navajo creation, proudly handmade in the USA.
