Navajo ring featuring a Sonoran Gold turquoise (Arizona) set in sterling silver.

This ring is typical of Navajo jewelry: the turquoise is surrounded by a fine silver cord and enhanced by small silver spheres.

The cord is reminiscent of a lasso: in Native jewelry, it is said that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.

The shank is composed of two silver branches joined into one, creating a lovely openwork effect on the phalanx.
