Since a picture is worth a thousand words, we'll let you admire the beauty of this large slice of Dry Creek (Nevada) turquoise set in mat sterling silver. In creating such a voluminous ring, the artist wanted to highlight the superb pastel blue tones and grey dies of this stunning American turquoise.

This large turquoise is set in mat silver. It is mounted in a smooth setting, surrounded by a thin silver cord (a very authentic Navajo jewelry element, reminiscent of the lasso). The shank is composed of four flat silver branches joined in one, and stamped on the back. The whole is oxidized, giving the silver a matte effect that contrasts perfectly with the soft blue of this turquoise.
