Navajo pendant in sterling silver set with an American turquoise.

This is a fine tribute to the ancestral skills of Native American jewelers:

The turquoise is surrounded by a thin silver cord, reminiscent of the lasso and the fact that in Native culture the stone is considered to be tamed like a wild animal. Each silver element is carefully oxidized, creating a subtle and elegant contrast with the magnificent hue of the turquoise. The stone, set in a smooth setting, is surrounded by fine chiseled and polished silver spheres, enhanced with small shells. The overall effect is both simple and refined.
