One of a Kind piece - Navajo pendant 

Navajo pendant made of a beautiful Royston turquoise (Nevada) set on sterling silver.

This pendant is made in Applique, a process emblematic of Navajo jewelry. This technique can be recognized by the leaf and spiral shapes that are chiseled into thin silver plates and then soldered onto the ring: here we recognize the leaves and shoots of squash blossoms. Squash is a staple food in traditional Amerindian culture. The bottom of this pendant shows slight oxidation. The artist has beautifully adorned it with several smooth spheres, topped by a flower delicately placed at the top, in the center of the jewel.
