This pretty little butterfly is made using the repoussé technique, a traditional jewelry-making process recognizable here by its domed design and beautiful native prints, which lend this pretty scrunchie a touch of elegance.

In Native American jewelry, conchos and butterflies are beautiful silver pieces, round or oval, found in several examples on traditional Concho belts.
