Navajo pendant/brooch in sterling silver
  

This lovely brooch represents one iconic element of the American Southwestern desert: a Saguaro cactus (pronounced "sah-wah-roh").

The entire cactus is stamped with Native designs to represent its thorns, but it turns out that these designs are also arrowheads, a symbol of protection.

Dimensions (L x W) : 34mm x 24mm ( 1.1/2 inch x 1 inch )
