One of a kind piece

Magnificent “Arm Bands circa 1930” war armband, framed in a superb wooden frame.

Discover an exceptional Apache warrior armband dating from the 1930s. These armbands, handmade from deer skin, are adorned with black, red, and white glass beads. Each color has a strong symbolism in Native American culture.

Black and white often represent a fundamental duality: the opposition between day and night, good and evil, the balance between the forces of the world. Red, on the other hand, can symbolize life, vital force, blood shed for the protection of the people, or courage in battle.

The whole piece is set against a black background that highlights the intensity of the colors and the finesse of the craftsmanship. This armband is much more than a simple object: it bears witness to ancestral know-how and a rich cultural tradition.

Frame dimensions (L x W): 44.5 cm x 28 cm

Proudly handmade in the USA.
