Maiden hand-carved in black-jet, whose face, necklace and outfit are inlaid with small coral and Sleeping Beauty turquoise dots (Arizona).

This beautiful Maiden is shown here with the traditional hairstyle of Hopi young women: two large macaroons covering her ears. This famous hairstyle has entirely inspired a well-known female character from a great movie saga! We can see that the artist who sculpted this fetish statuette took care to detail her jewels and her outfit, even creating a traditional belt around her waist.
