Pretty little Navajo earrings made from Kingman turquoise (Arizona), cut into small round cabochons and delicate teardrop shapes on sterling silver.

Inlay is a Native American jewelry-making process in which real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl and jet) are cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric pattern. The whole is polished to a smooth, elegant finish. 

This stunning inlay, made with turquoise and other stones, is characteristic of "channel inlay," which is recognized by the fine silver bars that separate the stones. Its creation requires great precision and results in a unique and unmatched design.
