Sterling silver Zuni earrings depicting Sunface, inlaid with Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona), black-jet, coral, and white mother-of-pearl.

Sunface is the sacred Sun Father. Symbol of life, it is omnipresent in Zuni's handcrafts.

Inlay is a jewelry-making process masterfully perfected by the Zuni: a composition of real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl and jet), cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric or figurative pattern. The whole is polished to a smooth, elegant finish.

These beautifully rounded flowers are a real dose of softness, framing the face.
