One of a Kind piece - Navajo earrings

These magnificent earrings are set with Kingman turquoise (Arizona) on sterling silver.

The bear symbolizes power, health and knowledge.

On the bear's back, an arrow runs from its mouth to its heart. This arrow represents the animal's breath of life, enabling it to master and dominate its predators.

Inlay is a Native American jewelry technique involving real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl and jet), cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric pattern. The whole is polished to a smooth, elegant finish.

Inlay is a Zuni jewelry process, but here it is masterfully executed by a Navajo silversmith. This ring is a fine example of “channel inlay”, in which the stones are compartmentalized by thin silver bars.

Dimensions (L x W): 3,1cm x 1,6cm
(1 inch 1/4 x 1 inch 5/8).

These earrings are in sterling silver.

Hooks in sterling silver.

Suitable for pierced ears.

Proudly Navajo handmade in the USA.
