Navajo Earrings

Beautiful Navajo hoop earrings made from Kingman turquoise (Arizona) and black-jet heishi beads.



These Heishi beads are meticulously crafted : the turquoise is first cut, then pierced and strung on a wire. The artist then grinds this strand on a grinding wheel to form the Heishi beads.
