The potters who make this craft make potteries of various sizes, then paint them with beautiful colors (usually gradations of complementary tones). These pieces are then hand-engraved with natural or geometric designs.

The patterns created by the artist include eagle feathers, emblematic of Native culture, and designs reminiscent of mountain shapes. She has also put her signature into a lovely canyon landscape, the very symbol of the American Western desert.
