Small Navajo Pottery - One of a Kind piece

This little handmade pottery is representative of the contemporary style created by the Navajo, called "etched pottery".

The potters who make this craft make potteries of various sizes, then paint them with beautiful colors (usually gradations of complementary tones). These pieces are then hand-engraved with natural or geometric designs. 

This pottery here features eagle feather patterns, emblematic of Native culture.

Each artist signs his or her work.
