Navajo bracelet with an oval-shaped Onyx stone cabochon set in sterling silver.

This bracelet is representative of the traditional Navajo silversmithing: The stone is surrounded by a thin silver cord reminiscent of a lasso, symbolizing the need to tame the stone as one would tame a wild animal. Native American motifs and palm leaves adorn the setting, and chiseled spheres are also soldered onto it, framing the stone and further revealing its beauty.
