Navajo Bracelet 

Navajo bracelet with an oval-shaped Pilot Mountain turquoise (Nevada) cabochon set in sterling silver.

This bracelet is representative of the traditional Navajo silversmithing: The turquoise is surrounded by a thin silver cord reminiscent of a lasso, symbolizing the need to tame the stone as one would tame a wild animal. The setting is enhanced by Native American-inspired motifs and an oval relief on each arm, crafted using the traditional jewelry technique known as "repousse". Finely chiseled spheres, soldered to the setting, frame the turquoise and magnify the stone's natural brilliance.
