Navajo bracelet in mat sterling silver set with a beautiful Number 8 turquoise (Nevada).

This bracelet is representative of Navajo silversmithing.

This beautiful turquoise is set on a highly elaborate shank: chased half-spheres and shell shapes are soldered onto a fully stamped silver base. These designs are the artist's own creations. He punches and hammers designs on the entire surface of the bracelet. This requires a perfect, powerful and repetitive gesture, so that each motif is created with the same depth.
