Magnificent Navajo bracelet in sterling silver. 

This bracelet is made using the sandcast technique, one of the oldest Navajo techniques.

The artist uses a sandcast mold, which he divides into two parts. One part is carved with a motif of his choice, into which he pours molten silver. The second part covers this pattern and is firmly attached to the first. Once the silver has hardened, the piece is removed from the mold. The result is a piece of jewelry with an antique, original appearance, where the characteristic roughness of the sandcast can be seen.

Abstract motifs, inspired by Native American designs, occupy the center of the bracelet and run its entire length. The silver has been lightly oxidized to bring out the motifs.

This bracelet offers a beautiful play of contrasts and nuances through the different shades of silver. The center and edges are subtly opposed, not in conflict, but in harmony. A form of visual mutual aid that makes this jewel even more sumptuous.

The artist has deliberately left two thin strips of smooth, uncluttered silver, adding a discreet, elegant touch of light.
