Ring-bracelet in sterling silver set with Sleeping Beauty turquoises (Arizona) : an 80s/90s emblematic piece of Navajo jewelry.

This jewel is made with the Applique process: This technique is identified by squash flowers (squash being an essential commodity to the Natives), leaves and feathers. All these elements are chiseled into thin silver plates and then soldered to a smooth frame. Combined with Sleeping Beauty turquoises (a well-known turquoise from the Southwestern United States whose mine is now closed), these elements create a jewel that is a symbol of Native jewelry whose vintage style is becoming increasingly rare.
