Discover HARPO’s iconic pieces
Harpo is more than a store, it’s an invitation to discover a unique world. In its store and online, Harpo celebrates exceptional craftsmanship passed down through generations of Native American artisans. Each creation showcases iconic materials of the American Southwest, including sterling silver and turquoise, reflecting a rich cultural heritage and timeless artistry.
The Chip Inlay Collection

Some collections, first introduced in the 1980s, have evolved over the years while staying true to their roots. Today, they are worn by both women and men, striking a timeless balance between heritage and contemporary style.
Each piece is handcrafted, highlighting the artistry of silversmithing. Animals, arrows, feathers, and symbolic motifs all carry meaning, echoing the spirit of the American West. Signature designs, such as Indian Head rings and finely engraved eagle motifs, have become hallmarks of the Harpo collection.
The collections also stand out for their use of natural gemstones, including turquoise, coral, and lapis lazuli, alongside colored resin. The Chip Inlay technique is a perfect example: tiny fragments of genuine gemstones are blended with resin, carefully hand-set, and polished to create a smooth, luminous finish.
The Liquide Silver Collection

Alongside the chip inlay rings and bracelets, another collection has been a Harpo favorite since the 1980s. Harpo offers necklaces and bracelets featuring silver beads and natural gemstones, combining timeless simplicity with understated elegance.
This collection highlights the traditional Navajo liquid silver technique. Fine tubular sterling silver beads are carefully hand-strung onto one or more strands, creating jewelry that is supple, fluid, and almost fabric-like. It drapes gracefully against the skin with a soft, luminous shine—giving the technique its name.
Depending on the design, these pieces may feature natural gemstones or showcase the beauty of silver alone. Nugget beads, conchos, feathers, and other signature details give each necklace and bracelet its own distinctive character while celebrating this iconic silversmithing tradition.
Pueblo bracelets and necklaces
Harpo’s Pueblo necklaces and bracelets celebrate the rich tradition of Native American jewelry through authentic, handcrafted pieces that carry the legacy of generations of artisans. Each design is distinguished by its Heishi beads, made from natural stones, shells, and other carefully selected materials.
Every bead is crafted entirely by hand through a meticulous process. The raw materials are cut into small discs, drilled, strung together, and carefully polished to create smooth, uniform strands with a refined finish.
This ancestral technique originated in the village of Santo Domingo, where the Kewa (formerly known as the Santo Domingo Pueblo) have perfected the art of Heishi jewelry for generations. Using materials such as turquoise, coral, jet, and shell, Kewa artisans create timeless pieces that reflect a deep connection to nature and preserve an enduring cultural tradition.
Fetishs Necklaces

What will Harpo be without his famous lucky necklace?
The Fetish necklace is an iconic piece of Native American jewelry, offered by Harpo in many variations depending on the artist. Worn close to the neck or longer, it is made from turquoise, shells, or a mix of natural stones. Each piece is unique, often featuring an eagle at the center, surrounded by animals of the American West such as the coyote, bison, and bear. These figures are finely carved from turquoise, jet, pipestone, or other natural materials. The necklace is traditionally mounted on one or two strands of Heishi beads made from turquoise or shell, creating a balanced composition that reflects the richness of Native American traditions and the skill involved in stone carving.
Harpo also offers more contemporary versions of the Fetish necklace, crafted entirely in sterling silver for a more minimalist and modern interpretation.

Loretto Bracelets

The “Loretto” bracelets by artist Larry Loretto are rooted in the tradition of Native American silver and turquoise jewelry, a world that is deeply meaningful to Harpo. Handcrafted using Zuni techniques, they combine authenticity with refined design.
Made of solid sterling silver, these bracelets are set with carefully selected natural stones. Turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl, and jet each bring their own unique tones and character, making every piece one of a kind.
Some designs highlight inlay work, a signature Zuni technique. Small pieces of stone are carefully cut and assembled by hand to form geometric patterns, then polished to achieve a smooth, elegant surface.
Loretto’s creations feature different styles of inlay. Plain inlay involves fitting stones tightly together to create a continuous, harmonious surface. Channel inlay, by contrast, uses small pieces of turquoise set between thin silver bars, producing a structured, graphic design.
Each bracelet is entirely handcrafted using techniques passed down through generations, where silverwork and turquoise—the iconic stone of the American Southwest—remain at the heart of the craft.

Les ceintures conchos

The Navajo concho belt is a striking piece—part jewelry, part accessory—that immediately draws attention with the shine of its silver elements and its shell-inspired forms. Set on a leather strap, the round or oval conchos, sometimes accompanied by butterfly motifs, create a distinctive visual rhythm. Each detail is carefully handcrafted and varies from artist to artist.
Some belts are also accented with turquoise, adding touches of color that contrast subtly with the silver. Every design is unique, reflecting the artist’s craftsmanship and personal expression.
At Harpo, the concho belt is available in a curated selection of authentic pieces, ranging from classic silver designs to more ornate versions, conceived as wearable jewelry that can transform a silhouette and define a strong, distinctive style.
