The concho belt is an emblematic piece of Navajo jewelry. This traditional and now mythical belt can be recognized by its silver oval or round pieces (called conchos) and others in the shape of butterflies, attached by copper bars to a genuine leather strap.
 

The buckle, conchos and butterflies on this belt offer a stunning example of the Repoussé technique, a Navajo jewelry-making process recognized by its domed elements surrounded by oxidized silver stamps, whose dark hue lends cachet and structure to the final jewel.

What's special about this belt is that each concho and butterfly is made to the artist's own designs : you can enjoy small details and variations that make each piece unique. It all adds up to a superb belt, which will create the style of your outfit.

Each silver piece is lined at the back with an equally sized piece of leather. As all the elements of this belt are removable, you can insert it into the loops of jeans and other garments.
