Stunning and original Navajo ring made of Kingman and Sleeping Beauty turquoises (Arizona), opals and black-jet on sterling silver.
 

Inlay is a Native jewelry technique initiated by the Zuni, and in which some Navajo artists excel : here, you can see a very nice example where stones are meticulously cut and assembled to form South-western traditional houses (called Adobe houses). Thanks to the black-jet inlaid of small silver dots, you can easily imagine this landscape on a starry night in the desert. 

This stone composition is polished in order to give a smooth and elegant finish.

This ring has a rare poetic beauty and is very representative of Native American jewelry work.
