Beautiful Navajo bracelet in sterling silver set with eleven oval lapis lazuli cabochons. 

This uniquely styled bracelet has a beautiful contrasting effect between the oxidation of the background and the intense midnight blue of the lapis lazuli stones. Each of these cabochons, cut into a perfect oval, is set in a sleek, smooth setting, enhanced by small spheres of shiny silver.

The bracelet's mounting is chiseled with fine cut lines, typical of Navajo jewelry. Another unmistakable detail: the two thin silver cords soldered all around the bracelet are a distinctive feature of Native jewelry. This element is reminiscent of the lasso and the fact that Native artists consider it necessary to tame the stone like a wild animal.
