Gorgeous Navajo ring made of a beautiful Sonoran turquoise cabochon (Arizona) set on sterling silver.

The setting of this ring is a beautiful example of Navajo jewelry in many ways: 

The turquoise and its serrated setting are surrounded by a thin silver cord, element is reminiscent of a lasso and the artist's desire to tame the stone like a wild animal. This turquoise of intense contrasts is also highlighted by small drops in relief, and the rest of the ring is chiseled with fine grooves

All these elements are oxidized, for even more volume. This creates a beautiful and strong ring, to be worn proudly!
