Gorgeously big Dry Creek turquoise (Nevada) set in sterling silver.

This beautiful ring is representative of Navajo jewelry: 

The turquoise, as large as it is beautiful, is cut in a naturally irregular shape that gives it all its character. The setting is composed of very fine cut lines and we can see a thin silver cord surrounding the turquoise. This element reminds the lasso and the fact that in the Native culture it is considered that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.
 

The ring is made of five silver branches joined into one and is stamped with a well known Native pattern in the shape of a shell.
