One of a Kind piece
Navajo: Naja pendant in mat silver set with a beautiful turquoise Kingman Spiderweb (Arizona).
This beautiful pendant is typical of Navajo jewelry:
The Naja is an element found particularly in the pendants of traditional necklaces called Squash Blossom. Its crescent-moon shape is reminiscent of a horseshoe. Like a talisman, the Naja confers protection.
Admire the details carefully crafted by the artist who created this jewel, Calvin Martinez: the turquoise is in a tiny serrated setting, the inside of the crescent is beautifully embossed with arrowheads and its ends are in two pretty round shapes. This is a powerful yet delicate piece.
