Zuni fetish - One of a Kind piece
 

This superb small Zuni sculpture carved in turquoise is a piece containing several Native American symbols:

We can see a traditional village perched on a canyon mesa, with small Adobe houses, recognizable by their flat roofs. At the foot of the canyon is a basket filled with corn cobs, an essential foodstuff for the Native Americans. These elements are wrapped in the wings of a dragonfly, a fetish animal often found in Native jewelry and crafts: The dragonfly represents illusion, the need for change, it is the symbol of wind and dexterity. On each side of the rock, we can distinguish fine hand-engraved patterns: sun, bear paw, stars...
