Fetish earrings: little horses in black-jet.

These little horses are meticulously hand-carved in black-jet and enhanced of Heishi beads (tubular beads) in black-jet and Sleeping Beauty turquoise (Arizona). 

The horse is symbol of earthly power, freedom and travel.

In a time when the Zuni tribe lived from agriculture and hunting, the hunters couldn't do without these amulets and would never forget to bring them during their expeditions. The fetishes assure benevolence of the soul. Each animal represents its spirit, its own inner force and protects its owner.
