One of a Kind piece

Beautiful handmade Zuni clay pottery coated of a beautiful terra cota color on which the artist has painted four lizards, whose heads all point to the narrow opening of the pot.

If this opening is so small, it is because it is a seed pot: an ancestral object of the Natives' life, it is an ingenious design since the hole is large enough to allow seeds to pass through, but too small to allow a bird to steal them.
