Oval Navajo belt buckle with traditional carvings.

This bracelet is representative of the Applique handcraft, a well-known process in Navajo silversmithing. The traditional Applique technique includes shapes such as leaves, feathers, and squash blossoms (the suash being an essential crop for the Natives). All these elements are cut from silver sheets and then soldered onto an underlying piece.

Suitable for a leather width of 1.4" (3,5cm)

Size (HxL in inches) : 2.1" x 2.8" (5,4cm x 7,1cm)

This belt buckle is made in sterling silver.
