This sterling silver Hopi bracelet is a finely crafted creation, created using the traditional Overlay technique emblematic of Hopi craftsmanship.

The bracelet features rain clouds and swirls of water, powerful elements in the imagination of Native American peoples. For the Hopi, rain symbolizes fertility, rebirth and abundance, as it heralds the coming harvest. To wear this jewel is therefore to display a deep connection with nature, the elements, and a culture where every symbol carries a spiritual and sacred meaning.

This bracelet is made with the Overlay technique. This process includes a background soldered to another like-sized piece with a cutout design. The silver background is then oxidized and scratched to bring out contrast between the two pieces.
