One of a Kind piece

Navajo bracelet made of a Blue Ribbon Sonoran turquoise (Arizona) set on sterling silver.

This bracelet is a signature piece, representative of Native jewelry and of the style of the artist who created it:
 

You can see that the turquoise is enhanced with two small spheres and a thin silver cord. This element reminds the lasso and the fact that in the Native American culture it is considered that the stone must be tamed like a wild animal.

The shank of the bracelet is design with four lines along its length : two smooth and two striated; each is oxidized, for more depth and character.
