Sterling silver Zuni bracelet inlaid with white mother-of-pearl.

Zuni inlay is made of real stones (most often turquoise, coral, mother-of-pearl and jet), cut and assembled by hand to create a geometric pattern. The whole is polished for a smooth and elegant look. 

This bracelet requires great precision from the artist, who works to cut the raw mother-of-pearl into several rectangles, to insert them on a thick sterling silver base. Each mother-of-pearl rectangle is separated by thin silver barrettes, creating an exceptional piece representative of the "channel inlay" process.
